Responsabilidades e atribuições


You’ll help to build scalable, robust, rock-solid solutions that provide a smooth customer experience. You’ll be responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of large-scale, multi-tier distributed software applications and tools. Innovate with us and showcase your work to millions of users across the United States. The technology stack is written in Ruby on Rails and Go, supported by Kubernetes microservice environment, each service with a separate PostgreSQL datastore. We use Kafka to communicate between our microservices. Our system serves 10 million events per month.

Requisitos e qualificações


1. 2+ years of full time hands on work experience with Ruby on Rails.

2. 4+ years of full time hands on work experience as Back End Developer.

3. Intermediate level of verbal English.

4. Proactive communication skills.

5. Passion for building top-notch software applications and tools.

6. Customer experience mindset.

7. Experience working with other engineers within a team and across teams.

8. Ability to take product requirements and develop software architectures and designs.

9. Ability to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software as well as build new product features.

10. Experience managing individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.


Nice to haves


1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.

2. Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.

3. Experience in Software Development in one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, Go, Rust, Objective-C and/or Swift.

4. Experience with automated testing.

5. Big O notation.
